the body work is basically done and ready for paint. the entire inside of the car has been edged in with PPG concept single stage paint.
the whole body and every other panel was dipped and ecoated after all the body welding was completed. all of the primer on the car is 2K. all primers used were 2K and they were all from PPG.
the rt inner fender shock tower was modified to clear a cast hemi valve covers. the lower firewall pinch weld has been trimmed, and reinforced for clearance. the torsion bar crossmenber has been modified to clear a overdrive trans, you should be able to bolt in a 6 speed manual trans without modifing the floors. factory rear torque box reinforcements have been welded in. xxxx factory front torque boxe reinforcements have been welded in. it has hemi fender mods for tire clearance. the rear wheel openings are trimmed for tire clearance, and subframe connectors are welded in.
i have 90% of all the parts to complete the car. the only things you need to buy are easily available thru restoration dealers. it has new front floor pans, trunk floor, used upper radiator support bar and right side panel for 26" radiators and one inner fender replaced. the doors, fenders and hood are rust free but not original to the car. the 1/4 panels, roof, firewall are oem steel. i have 2, 71, trunk lids for the car. 1 had some rust on the rear lip. 1 is rust free but has hail damage to it. both lids have been ecoated.
i have 3 grills, front and rear seat cores, at least 2 complete sets of chrome trim, all the the glass, both clear and tinted, except the windshield. all of the interior trim panels with both the woodgrain and red line inserts. i have a standard, 2 70/71 rally clusters, and gran coupe dashes. both 70, 1 pair and 71 gran coupe, 5 pairs, rocker moldings. several 6 way seat adjusters, no under floor braces, gran coupe head liner with several overhead consoles. rechromed front and rear bumpers with rechromed rear bumper extensions, rechromed outside mirrors, NOS fenders gills set, extra 8 3/4 rear end, there is a 8 3/4 under the car now, 518 OD trans core and a LOT of other parts also.
i built this car about 15 years ago with intentions of making a really cool pro touring car. i basically ran out of cash before i could buy the parts to complete the car they way i wanted to build it. so i bought a 72 road runner and installed the hemi intended for the cuda into the roadrunner. i have been driving the road runner for the last 15 years and put the cuda in dry inside storage.

the body is stored at a friends house 30 miles north of my home so you must set up a time in advance to look at the car.
i have most of the parts at my home.
NO I WILL NOT SELL ANY PARTS BEFORE THE BODY IS SOLD.
i would like to build a new garage and i really don't want to borrow money to do so. so the car is for sale after a keeping it for 15+ years in this condition.
i would like to get around 15K for everything.
i would sell just the rolling shell for around 8K
as you know 71 cuda's are getting really difficult to find. when you actually find one it's usually a rusted out POS needing a lot of work for more money than i am asking.
