New GPS Tom Tom was purchased in a Cape Town for driving South Africa's Garden Route. USA i-phones are locked in South Africa, so this was valuable. Paid $120 and used it two weeks. Saved us time, gas and stress when searching for lodging, restaurants, world's largest bungee jump, shark dives, whale watching, best routes, gas stations, vineyards, etc. A must for American tourists.
All maps are current and inclusive of major towns and cities in South Africa. This unit also includes major networks in Angola, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Swaziland, Lesotho, Malawi and Zambia. We didn't travel out of South Africa. Too much to see and do!
